Lissa Kathe's new project with Garden2Garden is Airborne!!!
a beautiful and AMAZING colaboration with the Shetland Isles Scotland is trully MAGIC!!!!
beautiful sounds inspired by three.. the Poet that inspires the Guitarist.. that inspires the
Pianist.. that inspires the Poet that inspires the Guitarist that inspires........ well it is just a
wonderful garden to walk though...
GARDEN2GARDEN
Imagine if you will two walled gardens. Thousands of miles apart. One garden afloat, an island
no less, in the far Northern hemisphere, the other a resident of the Earth’s deep South.
Opposites and yet complimentary. Joined by a common love for music and creativity.
Shetland is the home of our Northern garden tended by Nat and David. Their journey to this
special place is a story in itself. Escapees from crowds and traffic of some far distant city to the
freedom and space of the wild northern seascapes.
Then there is the magic. The link in the golden chain between these two gardens. The catalyst,
the Home Ground…the music of Kate Bush.
Our Southern Garden lies in Armidale, NSW. It is nurtured by Lissa Kathe. An artist of
extraordinary vision, creator of majestic musical landscapes. Elemental, inspirational, drawing
on the creative energy of all she sees, hears and feels. Lissa’s gift is unique; each song a
journey inwards, melody weaving outwards dancing into the world embracing, soaring, lifting.
These two Gardens may never have cross-pollinated but for a shared passion for the music of
Kate Bush. Through this connection a path became visible unfolding through the trees. Gently
at first the tides began to ebb and flow between our two Gardens until creativity blossomed in
an explosion of musical collaboration and song writing. New doors were flung open, new ways
found and rules abandoned. Hidden secrets belonging to the two gardens were released
through the chemistry between the participants.
Lissa’s voice and piano, David’s voice and guitar and Nat’s words and imagination caught
aflame catapulting the music skywards, upwards…Airborne.
The result is an eclectic blend of stunning musical voyages through vivid sensual landscapes…a
delight, a joy. A world to escape to, to belong to. A world of emotion and inspiration.
A place for the Spirit to soar and breathe. Welcome to the Light, the Sanctuary that is
Garden2Garden.

It is an exciting event for Lissa Kathe, performing her own music , some of it inspired by the incredible Kate Bush herself and as it is an opportunity to reach an audience who are already excited by the coming event and wishing to support Lissa Kathe's work it will be a performance to remember.
Lissa Kathe's performance at The Armidale Club on November 4th 2006 was a brilliant introduction to her live shows... captivating and grand, with her 9 musicians that included a String Quartet and 4 back up vocalists to accomodate the intense and colourful harmonies that signiture Lissa Kathe's sound.
This time at Haworth her music will be a sweet folk and playfull sound, appropriate for the 'feel'
of the event and with the outstanding talents of Kez Watson by her side on Fiddle, Viola and vocals it is bound to be stunning and just as captivating.
The other thrill of this incredible journey away from her home in Armidale NSW is that Beck Sian, who is a beautiful fellow Aussi artist with a most rapturing sound and is also touring the UK at present will also be performing at this event.
Beck has been spreading her beautiful folk music through the UK this past year and exciting audiences along the way with her amazing voice and style, Beck Sian happens to be Kate Bush's cousin and so this years UK Kate Bush Gathering will indeed be an inspiring culmination of beautiful sounds !!

A successful live concert as a full 10 piece on the 4th November 06 at The Armidale Club was a great live launch , and with many more to come in the year ahead Lissa Käthe will shine and mesmerise audiences.
