Musical Theatre Adventures
Music is my principal language, so bands, musical theatre, dance, orchestra & choral, have all had my attention on stage and/or off stage with technical and production roles, which I relish in. I love the nurturing of a stage musical show and the teamwork involved. I have been involved in musical theatre & orchestra both as a performer and in technical/production roles.
God's Drawing Board 2008
I sang soprano in the choir for the wonderful debut production with Ralph Stedman artwork/words & composer Elena Katz-Chernin. This was another Australian debut and to be part of such an exciting and beautifully produced show was a real honor. Musical Director again was Bruce Menzies.
I was greatly inspired by Elena Katz-Chernin's compositions and her use especially of recorder. I then composed a recorder duet for her. Although I have sometimes used recorder in my own compositions, I especially like to feature them more now that I feel more confident in their effect in a piece.
Lissa-Käthe 'Debut Concert' - 2006
In 2006 debuting my own works complete with quartet, percussionist and 4 backing vocalists to a thrilled audience.Exposing my musings, this launched continuous song writing, collaborations, performances and travel.

Orpheus In The Underworld 2005
The Armidale Drama and Musical Society again produces a spectacular production Offenbach's 'Orpheus In The Underworld'.
I had a great time being involved in this production and loved performing in character roles as part of the choir ensemble.

What an honor it was to be a part of this great show, with the wonderful and talented Peter Cousins. I sang soprano for the the duet from West Side Story 'One Heart' with fellow singer Brad Crook. This was such a great experience for me

The Plague & The Moonflower Tour 2003
A highlight of my musical theatre experiences has been, being part of the production team under Musical Director and producer, Bruce Menzies, for the specular Australian Debut of Richard Harvey & Ralph Stedman’s ‘The Plague & The Moonflower’ tour 2003, which was a 400-performer/crew feat!
The passion and purpose of this production was truly remarkable and will remain a very special event in my life

Bruce Menzies
Musical Director /Mentor
I need to mention my very dear friend and mentor, Bruce Menzies. I have been so fortunate to be involved in so many of his productions and learned an enormous amount from him. He never ceases to inspire me and although he has challenged my abilities, he has always made me feel I am able to reach where I musically dream to go. His passion for expressing music, is so infectious and my confidence always grows when I have spent all those weeks in rigorous rehearsals, because we always come out the other end being part of the best show anyone could possibly be a part of.
